The Healthcare Preservation Team, a group of concerned healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, and advocates have come together out of deep concern for the future of Medicaid in North-Central Washington. They have produced a full report, “Undermining Rural Health: A Study of the Impact that Federal Medicaid Funding Cuts Would Have in North-Central Washington”, and a white paper report, “Medicaid in North-Central Washington: Preserving Vital Health Services”, both of which were created to provide a clear, fact-based look at how proposed Medicaid cuts in the so-called.

Reverse Trump's Global Health Care Funding Ban -- Of all the dangerous unjust acts Trump and Musk have done, defunding USAID is perhaps the worst. It exposes millions to disease and poverty. Report on petition signed at Good Trouble Lives On Rally,07/17/25 -- Our petition against the so-called "SAVE" Act had 43 signatures. They were sent by priority mail to Senator Murray and Senator Cantwell on the Friday after our rally, 07/18/25. These are in addition to those who signed by capturing the QR Code. Those were sent via the Southern Poverty Law Center and we do not know the count. Thanks to all who signed! Hand in Hand Immigration Services -- Hand in Hand is a trusted place where immigrants can get accurate, up-to-date information on the citizenship process and clarification of their particular requirements for citizenship. Legal assistance is conducted by case workers who have been accredited by the Department of Justice. 

Friends of Ukraine Refugees -- Friends of Ukraine Refugees has helped more than 50 families from Ukraine find housing, obtain legal services for immigration, secure resources and critical support as they stabilize and build new lives in Washington state. 

Interfaith Justice Coalition  -- In solidarity with affected communities, we are diverse people of faith and conscience who seek the justice, equity, and collective liberation needed to create a flourishing world, beginning in NCW. 

Wenatchee Interfaith Climate Group -- Meets monthly via zoom. They have 12 regular participants and probably close to 40 on their email list receiving minutes. 

Evergreen Resistance  -- They are A peaceful, decentralized grassroots movement, organized at local and state levels and are committed to upholding democracy and the U.S. Constitution. They are dedicated to non-violence, and do not associate with those who claim to act violently on our behalf.

Democrats of Chelan County - The mission of the Chelan County Democrats is to improve the lives of all our citizens through grassroots organizing to elect Democrat and non-partisan candidates who promote our progressive values.
